510-horsepower Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid will officially debut in Geneva

Official premiere of the new Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid will be held at the upcoming Motor Show in Geneva. As it was announced by the head of the marketing department of the company, Stefan Utch, the novelty will receive a hybrid power plant, which general output can exceed 500 horsepower.

During the interview Utch said that in addition to the electric motor, the hybrid sports car will be equipped with the same internal combustion engine as the one which is placed under the hood of the 4S model. This is a 2.6-liter six-cylinder twin-turbo V-shaped motor which develops 325 horsepower.

Panamera 4S performance reaches 434 hp, while the gasoline engine of “hybrid” model will operate at reduced power. The exact level of performance of the new sports car is not specified, but experts believe that the total capacity will reach 510 horsepower. Plus, the model will have outstanding dynamic characteristics, despite the fact that it became 250 kilograms heavier. Maximum speed and acceleration from zero to hundred will remain the same due to the increased engine power.
